The way many people eat is amazing. One can only speculate that there is no thought about the effect of the food on the body. Without the extensive advertising campaigns people would probably never choose nutrient-free, sugar- and starch-laden, processed foods. We certainly do not choose them. We want to be lean, strong and healthy!

We also avoid factory farmed meats and fish. We seek animal products from animals that have lived happily grazing on green pastures. This is harder than using Farmers' Markets for their wonderful fresh vegetables and wild fish, but the growing interest in eating well is generating better sources for meats and poultry.
